Chinese Startup launches a “rent for drinking” service according to Uber’s model

An app called eDaihe has been launched in China by eDaijia, to help users ask for help to drink alcohol instead. Of course, substitutes must be able to drink enough beer for your partner to accept.

This drink service operates in a connected form like Uber, which is offered in 36 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Service prices are determined through civil negotiations between application users and drinker replacements.

It is known that more than 100,000 people registered to use the application in the first 24 hours. In it, those who sign up for “role-playing” must declare a record with the name, gender, address and amount of alcohol they can drink.

Founded in 2011, eDaijia is famous for introducing applications to find drivers to help when drunk. EDaijia data show that the company currently has more than 200,000 full-time drivers and part-time service across 331 cities. In 2016, there were more than 253 million drivers, of which 97.8% were drunk.
